September First!

Yum

Having been sooooo busy I didn't realize that I would have today, September 1st, for my very own. Ashley has to work and will attend a wedding later in the day, and Bob has traveled to St. Louis with a school group. So, what to do with this beautiful day??

I could....

do laundry and get all caught up for next week, thus having all of Sunday and Monday to party!

go shopping for fall things and be able to take as long as I want

stay home, enjoy my clean house, watch a movie and eat junk food

do my grocery shopping and menu planning, and be able to choose all my favorite fall dishes

turn my calendar pages to September!

write out all my September birthday cards

decorate the house for fall

paint my front door black, which I really want to do but Bob isn't so sure about it...

do a bit of gardening and updating for fall

mail some packages at the post office

eat lunch at Wendys because Bob doesn't like that restaurant

Or, how about all of the above!

I'll let you know how it all turns out!

  1. Happy September!

Whatever you decide to do, I hope you enjoy this day! If you go to Wendy's, please have a frosty or something yummy for me! Live it up, girl! :D

Aren't you glad it's finally here?

  2. william doesn't like Wendy's either but I do. I need to do some decorating for fall but can't seem to get started. Have to rake the pens before Diva gets mad at me.

  3. I say it's your day - go with the flow. See where the moment takes you. Make no plans and be spontaneous. And BTW, if you're talking about western PA Freedom - I live about 15 minutes from there. Right down Rt.65. What a small world!

  4. What a cool post. I want to savor September... especially because it brings me one step closer to my favorite of all months, October! I love all months, tho... with the exception of hot ones, and they have redeeming qualities, I guess.. Have a good Labor Day.
