Trim the Tree Thursday!

Go look at the darling feather tree at Between Naps on the Porch. Then check out the other blogs who are relaying decorating tips on Thursdays!

Here is a photo of a tree that gets a lot of compliments and comments at my house. It is a thin tree that we decorate using the Christmas cards we receive each year. I love this tree and it has found itself in various locations throughout the house. Last year it was in the dining room and most of the time it is in the entry. This shows the tree when we first put it up, not crowded with cards as it appears toward the end of the season

  3. That is a wonderful idea! It's often a challenge to know what to do with the lovely cards...I like this idea a lot.

Terri, I've given you an award and a meme (I think) all in one. Feel free to decline or do whatever you'd like with it.

Off to catch up on yesterday's post about the Thanksgiving menu. I just made the decision to host our family's Thanksgiving last night so I need all the help that I can get.

  8. You know I love that idea of a card tree!

I've always struggled with Christmas decorating and never feel entirely satisfied with my efforts.

  9. I see Janie and Alex on your tree. I already have the picture for this years card. I can't wait. We saw Santa at the mall this last weekend when my mom and dad were in. And yes, we cut Janie's hair right before school pictures, then a few weeks ago she decided she wanted bangs and cut it herself. It needs to be shaped up but we are dealing with it!
