A Christmas Meme!

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? I love buying wrapping paper and actually use it from time to time. It seems I am always in a hurry so I use bags a lot too. I try to decorate the bags with homemade tags, ribbons and pretty paper.

2. Real tree or Artificial? I am allergic to real trees... so artificial for me!

3. When do you put up the tree? Almost always it is the weekend after Thanksgiving.

4. When do you take the tree down? Before New Year's Day... I like to start the year with a clean house!

5. Do you like eggnog? Love, love, love my eggnog. My mother makes the best!

6. Favorite gift received as a child? A bike. I saw my dad putting it together.

7. Hardest person to buy for? Ashley, because she is picky.

8. Easiest person to buy for? Ashley, because she loves clothes.

9. Do you have a nativity scene? Nativity Scenes In every room! And, from all over the world!

10. Mail or email Christmas cards? Most definitely mailing cards. I love to see what cards have come to our home. I mail about 100 a year.

11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? A G.I. Joe. It was supposed to be for Tammi.

12. Favorite Christmas Movie? I love Charlie Brown, Elf, The Santa Clause.

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? Christmas Eve... not really! I shop all year around.

14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? Yes, but......... yes.

15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? My mom's sugar cookies, my mom's eggnog, my mom's potato soup.

16. Lights on the tree? Yes! White lights on the LR tree, red in the kitchen, multi colors on the Family Room tree... I default to white lights if I am questioning it.

17. Favorite Christmas song? O Holy Night.

18.Travel at Christmas or stay home? We travel to North Missouri every year at least once. We stay at home on Christmas day.

19. Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer? Please. I am an elementary principal.

20. Angel on the tree top or a star? There is an angel on the family room tree, ribbons on the rest.

21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? We open the Santa bag on Christmas Eve. It has our Christmas pjs in it, goodies to munch on and a new game to play!

22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? Have you heard the spoof song The Twelve Things at Christmas that are a Pain to Me?

23. Favorite ornament theme or color? Red and green, crystal

24. Favorite for Christmas dinner? Prime rib and Yorkshire pudding.

25. What do you want for Christmas this year? I would love a dCanon Rebel. Santa doesn't know it, though. Actually, any camera would be better than my cute little Kodak digital 4.0 megapixel camera.

  1. That is a very nice camera. We thought about getting that one. Julie has it. I just wasn't sure I wanted to carry around such a big camera. I love the fact that my Canon SD1100 fits in my purse and can go with me everywhere!!

  2. Oh, Terri, that was such fun to read. I love discovering the Christmas traditions of all my friends.

    My Canon has to go back for service and it is only a couple months old. A word of advice if Santa brings you one, don't use an external flash or you'll have problems getting the built-in flash to pop up.

    This year, however, I cannot in good conscience give my girls pjs... they have way too many already!
