Trim the Tree Thursday!

Stop by my Christmas Blog to see more ideas and things about Christmas!

This is our study, the place where I work on the computer, write out correspondence, do a bit of crafting and overall just hang out. It is decorated with photos and souvenirs of our travels and therefore, our tree here is decorated with ornaments from the places we have been throughout our married life.

Each year I place a copy of our Christmas card photo in a frame and display it in our study over Christmas. Here is one along with a snow Santa made by my friend Barb, who is the administrator of Girlfriends Forever, a wonderful chat site I visit.

Another Christmas card photo... plus another lovely snow Santa made by my friend Barb...

For Bob, who loves golf...

In memory of my father who loved fishing...

In every room of the house, we place a nativity scene. This one was purchased when we went to Mexico for our 25th wedding anniversary.

I hope you enjoyed the tour of the study, all festive and decorated for the holiday!

  1. I love that each one of your Santa is connected to a person or memory. That is so neat!

  2. Very nice! I love the personalized touches...the frame with your most recent Christmas photo, the Santa who fishes...great ideas. I also like the idea of a Nativity in every room.

Oh, I saw Jupiter and Venus last night, but the are definitely drifting further from the moon. It was an elongated triangle of sorts. Thanks for mentioning it, I'd never have noticed otherwise.

  8. I love the fisherman santa. Somehow our pics never get taken until Christmas-meaning they never end up in our Christmas cards! Maybe next year, LOL.

    Merry Christmas!
