Snow Day!

The midwest and particularly mid Missouri was hammered with snow last night. No school today!! I have plans to try a chicken pot pie recipe and to make some snow ice cream! I hope everyone else who is snowed in keeps warm!

Terri, we are getting that storm right now. I have 3inches already and I am expecting 14inches. Hey great minds think alike I am making potpie also. Do you have a tried and true receipe you wouldn't mind sharing with me. If so would you mind sending it to me on facebook in private message.

Enjoy your day off and stay warm and dry. I know we are supposed to get high winds and very cold temps on top of this snow.

  4. Pot Pie sounds delish! Haven't made snow cream in years!

We didn't get as much snow as you, but it's pretty chilly out.

  5. Hi Terri! OMG, I haven't hat chicken pot pie in ages. That sounds perfect for our frigid temps!

Are you out of school tomorrow, too? Our schools have been out most of the week....tomorrow, too. The roads and temps are just too wicked for buses and children.

Hope all is well with you. . . I've just been shoveling and warming up. Over and over! :)

  9. Even with our snow and frigid temps, I'm at work! When you're married to a Canadian, there's no such thing as a "snow day!"

    Stay warm and cozy!
