A Missouri Spring Morning

Last night my friends and I headed out for a Girls Night Out. We started out at the VFW to wish Denise's dad a happy 80th birthday. After hanging out there for awhile, we headed over to Arris' Cafe (which we love) and had dinner and good conversation!

Before I went into the VFW, I took these photos of the Capitol. I think it is prettiest in the Spring!

This is the Governor's Mansion. The tulips out front are gorgeous!

  1. Isn't Spring glorious!?! Just love it.
Your Governor's Mansion is so stately.

I believe I saw him on the news last evening.
As soon as I saw Jefferson City I thought of you.
Impressive? I see the Governor and I think of a great friend.

  4. It's so fun to see spring more or less popping all up and down the Eastern seaboard at the same time. Quite unusual, but great! The Governor's Mansion really is a beautiful building with lovely spring landscaping. Glad that you had a fun night out with the gals. Ahhh, I miss that!

  8. Don't you just love it when all these signs of Spring show up:-) The Capitol and Governor's mansion are just beautiful and how I'd love to be able to visit them in person!! We woke up to snow yesterday and it snowed again today but thankfully it's already starting to melt already. After having had above normal temps for the last few weeks, I was NOT impressed to see snow! lol xoxo
