Easter Hops In!

Easter is so late this year. I don't mind it though, because I will get to enjoy our Easter things so much long this year. When Easter is in March I only see my St Patrick's things for awhile and then my Easter things for awhile. Now I can enjoy each for its own whole month!

My Easter decoration are mostly old things.  Things I have had since I first got married in 1977.  I love getting them out and remembering how each came to be in my possession.  A spring Walk Down Memory Lane!

Yep, these are new.

Recycled over many years!

Some of the eggs were handpainted by me, others by friends.

Egg on the left was a gift from Bob and Ashley and the bunny on the right is new!

This little wicker bunny has been around forever. The ribbon used to be bright pink!

  2. It is nice to enjoy the decorations for a little longer than usual. Good point. You have some wonderful treasures and many happy memories. Oh for your rabbit...what about another twist around with the pink she used to wear and then she'll have both the old and the new. Have a great week!

  4. You are right about a late Easter giving us more time to savor the Easter decor. I always think the pretty colors are so welcome at this time of year. Your house looks great. I really like the basket of eggs in the first picture and that wicker bunny is adorable.

  6. Your Easter decorations are so delightful and I love the fact that you've kept so many of your older ones:-) That's what I did this morning, take out my Easter stuff, now I have to decide where I want to place it all. Since renovating the living room, I have less areas where I can set decorations on! lol xoxo
