I shelled pecans all afternoon yesterday, ready to make the pecan pies (I'll make four, one each for my two boys and dil's to take home, the other two to eat with Thanksgiving dinner...I much prefer pie to cake...I'll be posting Mama's pecan pie recipe next week...it's the best ever...hope you are well, I've been neglectful Terri, sorry about that, but glad I came by today and will try to do better!

  2. Ohhhh, I'll probably return to this one a few times before Thanksgiving as I need some tips. I love finding the secret ingredient for pumpkin pie! Yay!

  3. I think you're right...it seems people are buying pies from bakeries or frozen (yuk) more instead of making their own. Sad! Thanks for the recipes.
