What I Liked, Products I Love!

We had a good month of fun shopping!

I'd like to share with you some of the things we got because I always look at reviews before I buy anything these days!  When it comes to my dogs, I am really picky.  I love shopping with Chewy.com as they do a lot of the research for you!

February was National Dental Month (for dogs, too!) so we got Zuke's Z-bones for the dogs.  Our dogs loved these treats and we loved their apple clean breath!  Wilson was so funny, he'd toss the bone in the air and catch it before he ate it.  Truman did his usual, let's hold it for awhile and savor it.  Both dogs loved these treats!

I get the Ipsy bag every month.  I received several things I won't use, but I have some nieces who might enjoy them.  I did love this sparkly pink eye shadow, though.  It looks great with my hair!  Cute make up bag, too!

My fun new thing was these new lipstains.  They are powerful, people!  I apply them in the morning, and they are still on when I am done with work in the afternoon!  They are called LipSense and are sold through independent sales representatives.  If you like them, contact me and I'll share my rep with you!

Bob plans to do a lot of biking this year, so we've been looking for one of those water things you can wear on your back so you don't have to hold a water bottle.  We found this one on Amazon, and really like it!  It's comfortable, holds 2L of water and the colors are nice.

I received the book,  The Gift of Friendship by Dawn Camp to read for review.  I loved this series of short stories about women and their friendships.  I found myself examing my own, and was happy to see that I, too, have developed some meaningful friends as described in this book.  Each of the different authors chose a woman in their life, how the relationship came to be, what benefits were mutually received, and how the friendship enhanced each other's quality of life.  I laughed, I cried, I missed my friends, I wrote to them, I called some, and I prayed for others.  I highly recommend this book!

A Sweet Misfortune by Maggie Brendan was my first book by this author but it won't be my last.  The characters in this book are ones you'd like to be friends with and you care about their misfortunes and their successes!  This book is filled with fun characters, to a grandmother who runs the town's clothing shop to the millionaire rancher, to the preacher.  Great fun, fast but not whimpy read, and an enjoyable but not too predictable ending.  Great book!

  1. I love lip stains, too! There's just no chance I'm going to spend time reapplying lipstick during the day, so the only chance I have is something that will really last a long time. ;-)
