Products I Love

It's that time when I share with you some of the products I tried and tested this month.  As always, I will disclose if I received the product at a discount or for free, or if I discovered it on my own!

My first product is from Chewy.com  I love that website!  They sent yummy treats from Cesar dog food.  My dogs are familiar with this brand and are always so excited to see it come out from the fridge.  We typically let it come to room temp so that the flavors are the best.  Of course, my dogs like the Filet Mignon and the Porterhouse the best! There is gravy and meat chunks and my dogs go crazy for it.  This product was given to me free for my honest review.

Truman is begging for more!

My next product was discovered at Walgreens.  I love going into Walgreens and talking to the ladies at the make up counter.  They always have great coupons and give aways and they like to chat like I do. This month I was told about this product from Biore.  It is a baking soda face wash.  You squirt a dry powder into your hands and then add a little water and wash your face.  I love it!  I feel so clean and refreshed!  I use it once a day in the morning as I have others I like to use before bed.  This wakes me up in a very positive way!

My May Ipsy bag was so cute this month.  The theme was Destination Chic, and it was marketed like a Route 66 postcard.  The bag was in the shape of an envelope and had a snap instead of a zipper.  This may have been my favorite Ipsy bag.  However, I made the decision to drop the Ipsy bag this month.  Even though I love make up and products, I wasn't using them the best way (mostly just collecting in my bathroom drawer) so I decided that I needed to save the money.

You might remember this post when I said I would be trying out a new laundry product called Good Sheets.  Several weeks after I made a post about the contest, I was sent ONE sheet to try.  ONE.  I was pretty upset but decided to give the product a try.  First I can honestly say that the product has a very good smell.  It was strong but it was just the right scent when the clothes came out of the dryer. I cannot say that the product is an all in one product as of yet.  Our clothes had heavy static and that is a deal breaker for all of us.  In the envelope with the product is a survey.  I completed it and was honest about how I felt about getting one sample after writing a post and promoting their giveaway.  I was pleasantly surprised to hear back from the company.  They asked great questions about the laundry static problem and with in a few days they sent me another sample of the product.  This time there were 5 sheets in the envelope.  Not really what I had hoped for in the long run, but a much better sample by which to judge.  Stay tuned.  I was given this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion.

Thank you for taking the time to read about my findings this month.  If you ever try a product based on one of my reviews, please stop by and let me know what you thought about it.  Have a great week!

  5. Your dog is super cute. My pup is so much like the kids. He will refuse to eat dinner and wait for the treats! He is so sneaky he will try to take one out of the cupboard if we open it to get something out and we are not paying attention. That stinker usually gets away with it!

  10. Wow! One dryer sheet? That's ridiculous. That's not even worth your time, and it didn't even work great. Well, at least your review was honest.

  11. One sheet! That is crazy! I don't use any sort of dryer sheet, and just hope for the best with static. Although, it doesn't seem to be that bad surprisingly. I have used wool dryer balls in the past, and those work pretty well!
