Truman and Wilson January #ChewyInfluencer

Chewy.com gave us our treats, but the opinions expressed are our own!

February is National Dental Month for our pets, too, and Truman and Wilson would like to make sure that you are taking card of your pets' teeth.  Truman and Wilson get dental exams every time they do a scheduled visit with their vet and both have had to have some dental work.  It is important to look after their teeth.

In addition to daily brushing, you can help your dog's dental hygiene by giving them these treats. Merrick Brush Bones come in multiple sizes.  The shape and texture helps remove the stuff that causes bad breath, plus freshens breath and whitens teeth.

Our two guys ate them up!  I like that it took a little longer for them to devour these treats, too.  They concentrated longer and were busy with the bones for a good long while!  As you can, it wore Truman out!  That's a good thing, though, as he needs the workout on his gums.

We will definitely keep a supply of these bones for our dogs.  The medium sized bone seemed appropriate for both the 30 pound Westie and the 10 pound Cavachon.

  1. I have never tried those before. I have gotten other brands of bones that are supposed to help teeth but these look like they would be great,

  2. I don't have any pets at the moment, but I had the privilege to have them in the past and I can totally agree that they need care and love. Thank you for sharing this great post. You brought back many wonderful memories

  3. Its crazy how important dental health is to everyone - humans and animals. I have little kitty q-tip teeth cleaners but admit I dont use them on Moxie too often. However, those treats with dental support are genius! I do give her those types of treats a lot!

  12. This are brilliant - I've been looking for something like this for my cats but can't find anything, I feel like manufacturers don't really care about cat teeth that much haha x

  14. I learned the hard way the importance of taking care of your dog's teeth. Our poor Daisy had one abscess on her, and the vet wound up having to pull all of her teeth. Yes, please take care of those little teeth.

  15. First off I love Chewy.com. They save me a lot of money monthly on my pup's medicine. I can't give him dental bones anymore as he has diabetes and is on a strict diet. However he gets his teeth cleaned regularly. I agree with you that their dental hygiene is very so important!
