Classic Lemon Drop Martini #NationalMartiniDay

If you love a vodka martini dirty, extra olives please, then you are going to enjoy the martini drinks we are sharing below! We have all kinds of yummy drinks and I am sure you are going to find your perfect one.  I am making the Classic Lemon Drop Martini for you today.

As a kid, I loved getting lemon drop candy from the grocery store. They were sold in a bag and I loved dissolving the sugar coating on my tongue before getting to the hard, tart candy.  When I thought about how I wanted to present this classic cocktail, I thought about my childhood delight in lemon drops!

The Lemon Drop Martini has the distinction of being my very first cocktail, too!  Since it was created in the 1970s, people contribute the creation of the Lemon Drop to be the inspiration for all the fancy cocktails that have come since.  Delicious trend!
