In the summer one of my all time favorite drinks is iced coffee. I have my own personal recipe that I make at home on most days, but if I want to treat myself, I live in an area filled with charming coffeehouses all through town. If you live in Saint Charles, Missouri or are visiting here, here are my favorites:
1. The Bridge Coffeehouse
3257-1 Domain Street
This coffeehouse is in my neighborhood and makes a delightful lavender iced coffee. I can make this nearly sugar-free as well by using sugar-free vanilla syrup instead of any additional sugar.
2. Course Coffee Roasters
1218 N, 2nd Street
My husband loves the coffee at Course and gets his beans here for his daily pour-over. I love the Cascara Latte.
3. Picasso's Coffee House
101 N Main and 1650 Beale Street
I adore the Aztec Mocha. It reminds me of the hot cocoas I have had in Santa Fe, New Mexico and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The coffee creations here are an art form.
4. Peace Love Coffee
524 S. Main
A hippy vibe, with good food and excellent coffee.
