Spring and Tea

One of my favorite chat sites, Girlfriends Forever, sponsored a Spring Tea today. Here is the tea setup I enjoyed earlier this morning. Our morning in Missouri was sunny but somewhat cold so I had tea indoors while I enjoyed the movie Becoming Jane. I had a toasted mini bagel along with some of my MILs delightful cream cheese mints. With my mint tea, it was a delightful time. The little teapot makes enough for one, notice that the cup in under the teapot. The darling dish with the glass dome is from Cherry Hill Cottage.

As I was considering what to post this morning, I spent some time at The Inspired Room. This blog is so wonderful at picking the perfect thing to post. It has become one of my daily "must checks" because of that! I am always inspired!

Here's to a lovely spring week!

  1. We had a wonderful rainy Saturday and a cloudy Sunday and I am not complaining one bit! I know that some are getting rain that don't need it and wish it would stop, but we need it so badly that I could shout everytime I see a downpour...had a lovely pot of tea on when Evil Sister visited yesterday and we had a game of Scrabble with her DIL. Such fun! Hope your weekend was wonderful!

  15. I've recently become a fan of White Tea. I can't even remember why I decided to try it, but now I can't do without it. I even started carrying some teabags around in my purse. My youngest son nearly died of embarrassment when I pulled one out at Cracker Barrel the other day. Amazing what can drive a teenager crazy, eh? Anyway, I've been thinking about getting one of those teapots with the cup but didn't know if I'd like something like that. You've just about convinced me that I would, though. :)
By the way - I finally got one of those round stamps the other day. I didn't get it with my address on it, though. I got mine to use on my scrapbooking pages and books so it says "from the imagination of" and then my name instead of an address. But I like the darn thing so much, I think I DO need an address one for my Christmas cards, etc. lol I posted a picture on my blog along with a website. It's my belief that EVERYONE should have one of these. LOL

  16. Terri...
So YOU are the one that bought that precious plate from Cherry Hill cottage...you know every time she posts about them...I am always a few minutes too late to benefit...but I am thrilled you have one...don't you just love it!

So are you still re-cooping from the big day...I can remember after our daughters weddding...I wandered around for days...maybe weeks feeling lost...nothing to do...but as usual...life happens...and things certainly go back to normal...eventually.

I really enjoyed the slideshow...can't wait to hear more updates...

    Blessings...
    Teresa
