Harry Chapin was killed in 1981 in an automobile accident in New York City. It was a devastating loss to both the music world and the world in general, as Harry was a true humanitarian. His work with world hunger continues today.
Before the concert, Gary, Joy, Ashley, Eric, Bob and I went to dinner at a lovely place called Reggie's Backstage Restaurant. The food was marvelous and we highly recommend it if you are in the Central Theatre district for a show.
The concert itself was wonderful. Of course, I would have liked to hear more Harry songs, but since each family member is a talented musician of his/her own right, it made sense that we would hear the music of the others. My personal favorites: All my Life's a Circle.

Again, excuse those dates on the photos... I haven't figured out how to change it on my camera yet. Well, ok, I have been too lazy to figure it out on my camera yet!
It sounds like a wonderful evening.
ReplyDeleteI was about to comment on the camera dates, but I see you've explained it. Come on girlfriend, you can change it easily. I know you can. LOL (On mine, you go to menu and then scroll down for dates/time to change.)
I hope you're having a wonderful weekend.
Hugs!
