Nutella Cookies

Welcome to Christmas Cookies Week 2025! Each year, this event provides me with enough cookie recipes for the entire year!

There’s nothing quite like the magic of December, the twinkling lights, the cozy gatherings, and the sweet aroma of cookies baking in the oven. This week on Our Good Life, we’re celebrating one of my favorite holiday traditions: Christmas Cookies Week, a cheerful countdown of delicious treats straight from my kitchen to yours.

Each day, I’ll be sharing one of my tried-and-true cookie recipes from terristeffes.com, cookies that have graced our family cookie trays, been tucked lovingly into neighbor gifts, and sparked many joyful moments around the table. From melt-in-your-mouth classics to whimsical new favorites, these recipes are easy, festive, and perfect for gifting or savoring with a warm mug of cocoa.

✨ Here’s what you can expect this week:
Day 1: Peppermint (Protein) Meltaways
Day 2: Baby Jesus Cookies.
Day 3: Bourbon Toffee Pecan Cookies
Day 4: Strawberry Thumbprint Shortbread
Day 5: Nutella Cookies

Whether you’re a seasoned baker or trying your first holiday batch, Christmas Cookies Week is all about joy, sharing, and savoring the small, sweet moments of the season.

So tie on a festive apron, turn up the Christmas music, and let’s make this the sweetest week of the year! The Steffes women put together a last-minute cookie swap after I found out we were mostly going to be together in Macon this year. Jeanne and David celebrated in Nebraska this year. I put together an invite and put a plea on the Keep Smilin' Project page, and off we went!

Ashley and I baked our cookies when she got home on Wednesday. Ashley baked a delicious but straightforward Nutella cookie, found first on Pinterest. I baked a Weight Watchers Strawberry Angel cookie.

  3. Did you like the angel food cookies? I think I will try them...they almost remind me of those chocolate pixie cookies!

I got to send 445 dollars in gift cards to Lisa H. I mailed it yesterday. I'm so excited for her to receive it! I signed it "From a bunch of angels who admire the good work you're doing in the world" and no name!

thanks for being a part of that. Let me know on the cookies!
