Ham and Cheese Roll Ups #SundaySupper

It's #BacktoSchoolWeek here at Our Good Life and we have had a wonderful week of posts all geared to helping you have a fantastic school year!  To end our week, this Sunday Supper event will give you a wonderful array of after school snacks that you will love!

For me, a great after school snack is one that kids can make for themselves, and adjust it to fit their taste buds.  It is also low in carbs!  These wonderful Ham and Cheese Roll Ups fit this description.

Ham and Cheese Roll Ups

Deli sliced ham, enough for each person to have two
Cheese slices, enough for each person to have two
Cream Cheese, 1 tub, softened
Dill Pickles, one for each person to have two
Seasonings, such as dill weed, salt and pepper, steak seasoning, cumin

Lay one slice of ham on the table.  Cover with one slice of cheese.  Add a layer of cream cheese over the sliced cheese.  Sprinkle with selected spices.  Place a drained dill pickle on the edge of the ham slice and begin to roll.  Continue to roll until done.  Set aside and make another.  You can make these in advance so that they are ready to eat when the kids roll in, or, have the kids make them right after school.  Either way, you can eat them whole, and just hold them or, cut into slices.  I like cutting them!

These are wonderful appetizers as well and easy to make in advance.  Switch up the dill pickles with bread and butter pickles for a sweeter treat.
