School Starts Tomorrow!

Another school year begins tomorrow!

I am all about the beginning of school. Seeing school supplies at Walmart makes me shiver! Packages of paper, crayons and Ticonderoga pencils are just waiting to be purchased.

We are ready for our students. Here are some photos of my office and the front of our school. Note the darling sunflower wreath!

I can't believe it's time for school again. The beginning of the school year, always brings back memories of the sights, sounds and smells of school days, not only when I was a child but when my children were growing up. I volunteered as a teacher's aide, when K was in Kindergarten. When our youngest daughter, M started school, I went with her, working as a volunteer in the library. Happy memories!

I love your office! Beautiful wreath!

  7. Terri,
I have enjoyed reading your blog this summer! Good luck with the new school year. I retired in June after 30 years of teaching on the elementary level in the same school system. I love my freedom, even tho I did miss getting my classroom ready. I'm going to get started this week creating a blog.

Could I trouble you to check your PM on GLU? Have a Stocking Swap question!

  11. Okay, I have to admit. I have a hankerin for school supplies myself. I didn't allow myself to go down that aisle at Wal-Mart yesterday morning. I have no need to, but I was sure tempted. Does your office always look so neat? I'd be too embarrassed to let you see mine.

  17. I always looked forward to school starting when I was a kid...I loved school! Luckily our Grandgirl also loves school and was so excited that she had gotten the Science Teacher she was hoping for (she's in fourth grade this year). I love Ticonderoga pencils, too! I love the feel of the pencil in my fingers...much better than a pen, lol! Could it be the eraser???
    Good luck this year!
