Happy 2010

Bob and I wish each of you a happy and wonderful 2010. We celebrated at our favorite restaurant, The University Club, and they did not disappoint us! We had a fabulous five course meal with wine pairings....right up our alley. We went home and toasted the new year with champagne from our wine bin at the U Club. It was a wonderful night!

  4. You guys look so great in that photo....must've been the glow from those wine pairings! Hey, I'm kidding. :) It's a great photo!

My hubs had to work on NY Eve, so we just stayed home and had some "delicious" veggie lasagna (again I'm kidding---it wasn't that great, but it was fairly healthy). NOW yesterday was a different story! We met two other couples at the old theater on the Ind. Square and saw "It's Complicated" (so cute), then we went to one of their homes and grilled (yep in our freezing weather!) steaks. I made twice baked potatoes (and I didn't spare the good stuff!), Bonnie brought wonderful green beans, Marian made black-eyed peas (for good luck) with sausage and onions...and delicious cheesy bread. I also made Texas Sheet Cake. We enjoyed a couple of toasts, too. :)

I'm glad you chose to stay put today while the rest of them made the trip to look at NFM. It's SOOOO cold.....a great day to stay inside and visit blogs!
