Love the Pie Project

I think pie making is a fading art.  In order to preserve this wonderful dessert, I am participating in this linky party!  Click the picture to go see a lovely world of pie, pie and more pie!

Here are a couple of yummy pie links that have been previously posted here at Lakewood Manor.  They are worth repeating and sharing!

  1. I shelled pecans all afternoon yesterday, ready to make the pecan pies (I'll make four, one each for my two boys and dil's to take home, the other two to eat with Thanksgiving dinner...I much prefer pie to cake...I'll be posting Mama's pecan pie recipe next week...it's the best ever...hope you are well, I've been neglectful Terri, sorry about that, but glad I came by today and will try to do better!

  2. Ohhhh, I'll probably return to this one a few times before Thanksgiving as I need some tips. I love finding the secret ingredient for pumpkin pie! Yay!

  3. I think you're right...it seems people are buying pies from bakeries or frozen (yuk) more instead of making their own. Sad! Thanks for the recipes.

    Happy weekend hugs,
