It's no secret that I am a big fan of our neighborhood Dollar Tree. The store is clean and organized and has such friendly people. I often use them as a resource for projects and recipes. If you haven't been to your Dollar Tree, go now! I adore their seasonal place settings, too!
Do you have a favorite recipe where you buy some of the ingredients from Dollar Tree? For the recipe below, I purchase the gnocchi and the pumpkin puree from Dollar Tree.

Gnocchi with Pumpkin Sauce
prep time: 5 minscook time: 20 minstotal time: 25 mins
A wonderful seasonal side dish that is fabulous with poultry.
ingredients:
1 pkg gnocchi
4 T butter
2 T dried sage
1 can pumpkin puree
salt and pepper
1/2 c cream
1/2 c grated parmesan
instructions:
Heat a large pot of water to boil. Drop the gnocchi in. When they float to the top, remove them immediately. Place into a bowl. Melt the butter. Add sage and stir to heat and release the oils. Stir in the pumpkin. Add cream and stir. Allow to heat slowly. Pour over gnocchi and toss. Serve with grated parmesan on top.
