Easy Peasy Chocolate Smoothie

I don't remember smoothies being a "thing" when my daughter was in school, but I know that she would have loved this delicious smoothie.  Getting out the door fast with good nutrition in hand is a mother's dream!

All the ingredients go in at once, but here is a little trick:  fill your blender bowl the night before and then all you have to do in the morning is set the blender bowl on your blender and start blending. You are welcome.

I was told once that food bloggers never eat their dishes. For me, that's just not true. I try
each and every one of my recipes, multiple times, to give you the very best food experience with my recipes!
I am working with a group of super food bloggers to cover your back-to-school food basics and to get this school year started off right!  I'm a retired school principal and teacher, and I know how crazy the beginning of school can be!

Start your morning off with the Easy Peasy Chocolate Smoothie (kids love saying this!) and your morning will be at least be started off right!

  3. How can a food blogger possibly recommend a recipe unless they try it. I have never heard that statistic. All of my recipes are part of our family meals. Your smoothie sounds wonderful

  5. The addition of the fruit sounds good! I'd probably pick bananas and strawberries!

  6. This would be great for breakfast or as an afterschool treat since we will be in the high 80s-90s for the first few months of school.

  7. A chocolate smoothie is perfect anytime. You don't even need back to school (though I love the "sneak"). And we totally eat my dishes too--also multiple timess!
