A Gratitude Pumpkin #pinterestchallenge

It's time for the October Pin Challenge! The purpose of the Pinterest Challenge is to motivate us to not just pin, but to make it happen! This month's challenge is all about Thanksgiving projects and recipes. The pin I chose was A Gratitude Pumpkin!  You can find the original idea here.

I had pinned several Gratitude projects but when I saw this one I knew I needed to do it. It is such a wonderful idea, and something that can be passed on, if the family desires!

All you need is a faux pumpkin, a sharpie marker (I used a medium tip,) and a heart full of gratitude!  It is super easy to do but carries a big impact.

I chose to write about each person in my family. I left room for when other new people join our family. I also left space for me to add things in future years. So yes, this project may look a little skimpy now but I have full confidence it will be overflowing in the future!

What does your family do to express gratitude over Thanksgiving?  We offer up a prayer and write in a small photo album. I’d love to hear more of your ideas!!
