Not just for breakfast anymore! Do you ever sit and wonder how some food got designated as breakfast foods? I did seven when I was just a little girl. My mom would make breakfast for dinner and we always felt so naughty when she did that! I mean, those were breakfast foods! Those meals were always so delicious and she went all out: eggs, bacon, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, and fried potatoes.
This Sunday we are having fun with Not Just For Breakfast as our theme. I have been known to eat a bowl of cereal for dinner when my husband was coming home late or he was out of town. It was a quick and tasty dinner and so easy to clean up. We are getting a little fancier than that today, and my suggestion is a bit themed around St. Patrick's Day, too!
Make this smoothie for dessert, dinner, or lunch. Any way you decide to enjoy it, you will be glad you did!
