Bloody Rum Punch

Bloody Rum Punch is much like a classic sangria and every bit as good.  I love it for Halloween for its dark red, spooky color.  Sangria hits, well, like a punch, so be careful how much you drink!  This punch is super simple to put together, but its deliciousness comes from sitting overnight and allowing the flavors to blend.

This delightful cocktail is served over ice.  Dollar Tree carries some fun Halloween cocktail glasses but for a more elegant and maybe even more eerie drink, serve in a beautiful cut crystal highball glass.

Fun tips

Freeze water in rubber gloves, then peel off the glove to reveal icy hands.  Put these in your punch bowl for even a bit more Halloween fun!

Use a medium-bodied red wine. I prefer Tempranillo, a Spanish red wine.

The longer it sits, the better it is!
