Strawberry Fizz with Rhubarb Shrub

This month in Improv Cooking Challenge, we were given the combination of Strawberries and Rhubarb.  That's a tough combo this time of the year, many of us don't have rhubarb growing at the moment.  That was fine with me, I just used a bit of my homemade Rhubarb Shrub.  If you follow the link, you will learn about shrubs and how to make the rhubarb one.  So delicious in a cocktail.

For this summer drink, I am using a product I get at Aldi's that I love called Frost.  It is about $1 a bottle, sometimes they go on sale for a bit less.  For this drink I am using the Strawberry Frost.  There is another brand called Ice that works well for this drink, too.

You can leave out the vodka if you want a mocktail and it is still super refreshing and delicious. It goes beautifully with a juicy hamburger!
