Now on to this recipe!

Tips for making these cookies:

Use frozen snickerdoodles cookie dough for the cookies and bake according to package directions.

Dip the marshmallows in almond milk before rolling them into the sprinkles.

Use 1/2 of a pretzel stick for the stem and stick it as far down as you can.  It helps create the pumpkin ridges.

Pumpkin Snickerdoodles

A fun cookie to make with your kids, it only takes three ingredients and a ton of fun!

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg of snickerdoodle pre-made cookie dough
  • 18 marshmallows
  • 1/3 cup orange sprinkles (I like the orange/yellow mix)
  • 9 pretzel sticks, snapped in half

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to package directions.
  2. Prepare a cookie sheet with a silicone pad.
  3. Remove one cookie from the package and roll it into a ball.
  4. Place cookie on cookie sheet. Bake according to package directions.
  5. While cookies are baking, roll each marshmallow in the sprinkles.  Push 1/2 of a pretzel rod into the marshmallow to make the pumpkin stem.
  6. Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool for 5 minutes.
  7. Top each cookie with a marshmallow and let sit until the cookie cools completely.
  8. Cover loosely with plastic wrap.
