Rock ON!

The Eagles were AWESOME!

They played for an hour, took a break, then played another straight hour and half and STILL didn't play some of our favorites. We danced and sang all night! It surprised me how many songs Ashley knew. I hadn't realized how influential our music had been on her life!

Hotel California was awesome. They did a great job with the graphics behind the band. And the instrumentation... sax, trombone, piano, guitar (I counted seven different ones),trumpet, coronet, and percussion like I have never seen (and I am married to a drummer!).

My cell phone doesn't take the greatest photos. I think Ashley will be writing a post about the concert, too.

  1. Sounds like you had a blast! I haven't been to a rock concert in about 17 years! The last one I went to was Fleetwood Mac when they had their first (of many) renunion tours!

  5. What a wonderful time!! I love the Eagles but haven't seen them in concert since the early 80s! ACK!
My brotehr and si sin law are going to see them on the 29th and are really excited.

  6. Oh wow Terri, how cool is that???!!!!!!! The Hotel California CD was the first present I ever bought for my DH, back when we were first dating. That would have been a great concert to go to. 7. Ohhh, lucky, lucky you! I would've loved to have been there! Glad that it was a great show.

My goodness, turn my back for a day or so and I have five posts to catch up on!

  8. Nalley wonders how the Eagles got there without him driving the limo!!! Remember my post??

  9. You say the picture isn't the best, but I love it. It looks so exciting and LIVE!!! Glad you had such a great time! Of course Ashley knows Eagles songs. I know too many Elvis songs too for some genetic-traditional reason...:)

  10. We hit the Eagles traffic, and I was 30 minutes late picking up Reilly from soccer practice.
I would have loved to have gone to that concert. I love "Take It To The Limit".

  11. Finally got here Terri!
How many miles are you from the Quad Cities? I'm so jealous... oh my gosh looks like you are in full swing with spirng already!!
Love your blog and as you already know I too adore the Eagles!!!!! They were awesome here too!!!!!!
