Because research from Cornell University’s Food Lab found that families who had food out were likely to eat 15 percent more each day than those who did not. They also found that women who kept chips on the kitchen counter weighed, on average 22 pounds more than their neighbors who did not! If you’re looking to lose or maintain your weight, this has to be one of the easiest things you can do.

Declutter the place

They often say that a cluttered space makes for a cluttered mind and many people have found this holds true in their life. If your home is cluttered, you’re always stressed about the mess and your mind simply cannot relax because there is so much going on around you. So, if you want greater peace of mind, you might want to start getting rid of the things you don’t really need or love. can’t bear to part with them? Small storage units could be a good solution. Install blackout blinds

Blackout blinds or drapes are something that you should definitely think about installing in all of your home’s bedrooms, Why? Because natural light is known to have a huge impact on regulating tour circadian rhythms. If it’s still light in your bedroom when you tuck yourself in for the night you will have a far harder time of getting to sleep than you will if it’s really dark. That’s because, when the body is exposed to light it doesn’t realize it should be sleeping and it doesn’t release those sleep-inducing chemicals we all need.

Change the color of your bedroom walls

Colors can affect the way we feel. Shades like red and pink can arouse our senses and keep us stimulated; white acts in a similar way. So, if you want to get a good night’s sleep, you may want to move away from these colors and instead paint your walls in shades of soothing green or light blue - basically any color you find a lot in nature will help to soothe better than more striking shades that can stimulate the body and mind.

Lower the temperature

Heating the home to a high temperature can make you gain weight and stop you from getting a good night’s sleep. When the home is cooler, our bodies burn more calories trying to keep us warm. Not only that, but it has been found that 65 degrees is the perfect temperature for a good night’s sleep, so use your heating more wisely.
