The First Six Mods on our T@G Camper!

One of the most fun things about being a teardrop camper owner is all the fun with making modifications (or mods, as the T@G owners call them) to your camper.  Here are the first 10 modifications we made to our T@G based on our personal preferences.

The first thing we did was to modify the kitchen. We removed the factory-installed shelves and cup hooks and cleaned the wood.  Then we attached these magnetic squares from the Container Store.  I let my husband go and get the organizers he wanted.  This is a big deal, as he is usually banned from this store!

The second mod was to change the cabinet door handles from vertical to horizontal, so we could hang our towels on the handle.  My husband removed the screw from the bottom of the handle and swivled it up to make it horizontal.  He replaced the screw.  I love how functional it is.

Inside we did a lot of decorating (separate post!) but one of the mods my husband did was to add these two storage boxes by the (his) door. He plans to hold his glasses, pens, and other small items that he doesn't want rolling around the inside.

We also added these magnetic strips.  My husband likes the remote handy and above his head is a great place to use.  I am using mine to put on our magnets from other travels.  Note:  there are magnets in the kitchen as well.  I love my magnets.

We added a hitchlock so that we would feel better when we leave the campground. Our trailer is very light and can be moved easily by one person.  It's not foolproof but we hear that it is a deterrent.

The last mod we made was to add a memory foam mattress topper on the mattresses provided by NuCamp.  I needed the extra softness for my hip and that topper has made all the difference.

We will continue to keep track of the modifications we make on our teardrop. Part of the fun of owning a tiny camper is to see how creative you can be!
