Six Can Chili

This hearty chili is made with ground beef, beans, tomatoes, and corn!  Add a few good spices and this is a winner!  The chili isn't very soupy which means that it is scoopable with a tortilla chip. It's good on hot dogs, too, which makes it very, very appealing.

The chili is really good. I'll be honest, I thought that all those canned goods would make the chili too salty or too tomatoey.  It didn't do that at all. It is a wonderful blend of beef, tomatoes and beans with an occasional sweet zip of corn
.

I cook it over the stove and serve it the second day.  You can easily make this chili in the crock pot and get a nice deep flavor.  I like to serve it with corn muffins.  If you haven't crumbled a corn muffin in your chili yet, do it.  Delicious and no need for saltines.

  5. I love a good bowl of chili, especially now that the weather is getting cooler here in Wisconsin. I have never had with cornbread though. We usually eat ours with sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese and saltines.
