Pumpkin Beer Bread #TasteCreations

November is the month for Bread in Taste Creations!  I am excited to share our recipes for all kinds of bread with you.  Perfect for your holiday tables or really, any time!

This Pumpkin Beer Bread I am sharing with you is more on the savory side than the sweet side.  Even though it has pumpkin pie spice, the sour of the beer makes this a bread that you can use as a sandwich base.  It toasts beautifully, too!

Delicious, savory pumpkin bread.


  • 3 c flour 
  • 1 T baking powder
  •  2 t pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 t salt
  •  3 T cinnamon honey
  • 1 c pumpkin puree
  • 1 12 oz bottle of beer


  1. Preheat oven to 375.
  2. Line a 9 by 5 loaf pan with parchment paper.
  3. Pour all ingredients into a large mixing bowl.
  4. Using a Dutch dough spoon, stir until all ingredients are incorporated.  Do not overstir.
  5. Bake for 50 minutes, and test for doneness. Be sure to get all the way to the bottom.
  6. Let bread rest 5 minutes before cutting.
