The Best Homemade Hot Chocolate Mix #Choctoberfest2019

Even though I drink hot chocolate all year round, I like making this homemade hot chocolate mix in the fall and adding to it throughout the winter season. I scoop up my chocolate into a darling mug, then I stick it under the Keurig and run hot water into my cup.  So easy, delicious, and I consider it a fabulous treat!

Some tips I have learned are that you should use the best Dutch-processed cocoa you can afford.  I also run the powered ingredients through the food processor to make it silky smooth.  I like my hot chocolate with added marshmallows, so I add them before I add the hot water.  This gets the melting process started much sooner!
