Hot Chocolate Bread Pudding #Choctoberfest2019

Welcome to Choctoberfest!  This week we will be sharing such great chocolate recipes with you and be giving away these incredible chocolate prizes. I am going to start the week by sharing a wonderful dessert that my family adores: Hot Chocolate Bread Pudding.

The first time I made this, I added hot chocolate mix when I discovered I was out of cocoa. It was a pleasant surprise and helped me reduce the amount of sugar I used in the recipe.  This is pretty simple, even though it has a long list of ingredients.  You cut up and stale the bread you are going to use (for us we use a package of honey buns, but Krispy Kremes are wonderful, too!) make a custard and pour on top and let it soak in, and then bake it!
