Cucumber Mint Fizz #foodandflix

I'm stepping back into a fun group I used to belong to called Food and Flix. This is a group where we watch a film and create an inspired recipe based on the film.  The May film was Midnight in Paris.

If you are like me and enjoy historical fiction, this movie is made for you.  Imagine stepping back in the Golden Age, where you are partying with Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald, sharing a cocktail with Hemingway or being invited to Gertrude Stein's salon to discuss topics of the day?  The film takes you back to a time when everything is a little more simple but not less complicated.

I was inspired by all the various bar scenes to come up with a cocktail that could be my signature cocktail, just like Zelda drank martinis and Hemingway a mojito.  I created this Cucumber Mint Fizz, using cucumber vodka, bubbles of some kind, and fresh-picked mint.  This drink is so refreshing!
