Tablescape Thursday

Bob cooked a surprise Valentine luncheon for Ashley, Eric and me on Sunday. We used Ashley and Eric's vintage wedding china, their new silver service, and our crystal. The china is from St.Regis China, pattern 101 and made in Japan. We would love to have more information on this company, if any of you china experts would be willing share! This china was a gift from Ashley's Grandmother Steffes. Ashley found several pieces at an antique mall and bought them all in order to expand her service pieces and place settings.

The tablecloth was purchased at a rummage sale for a dollar. I loved the bow cutwork and that it was white. It irons so crisp and pretty. Please note the Gorham crystal dinner bell, another one of my noncollection collection

The crystal candleholders are from Lenox and were purchased years ago. I love that the top is for thinner candles and when you turn the holder over, it will hold a wider based candle!

I loved the way this photo turned out with the rose in full focus and the dishes slightly blurred. It does make it a tad difficult to see the place setting, though!

  9. Hi Terri! Sorry for the late comment; Blogger wouldn't let me see most of the pictures! It was nuts! I had to leave Susan's (the host) blog and wait, wait and wait until I can see everyone's pictures.

Beautiful table! Love the dishes and the roses. I used roses, too!

    Good morning! Carolyn

    Hi Terri,
My trailer is about 950lbs. I think it could be towed with your SUV, check your manual for tow limits. Mine is only 10 ft long and it is tiny, but the way I am re-doing it will eliminate un-used space. Men do go, in fact Donnie went with me the first time. It depends on the hostess that is putting on the event, some do not want husbands around, but most can. I have been to a couple of events, and wanted hom around the first time as I was not use to towing the trailer. But the girls are great support and always there to help back up, hook up and pack up. No worries! If you have any more questions email me Lorri4915@aol.com. I am hoping to get in some events this summer, you can go with me!
    Hugs,
    Lorri
