Lightened Up Eggnog

Eggnog is my all-time favorite holiday drink!

If you like eggnog as much as I do, check out these other eggnog posts I have done over the years:

Traditional eggnog is made with whole eggs, sugar, and heavy cream.  In my mom's there's even ice cream!  As much as I love eggnog, I could not afford the calories in the traditional eggnog drink.

To get more of my favorite drink, I looked for ways to make the drink a lightened-up version.  Mine still has whole eggs, and I added something new:  Oatmilk.  The naturally creamy nature of oatmilk is a perfect swap for whole milk or heavy cream.  I also reduced the sugar and tried maple syrup, and added a bit more high-quality vanilla extract.
